Next Generation Ministries is currently hiring individuals to join our team of directors to help manage our two-site school, Spring Garden Academy, with ECE, faith-based Elementary (K-8), and OST programs, along with community, youth, and parent programs. As an educational director you will focus on administration of our educational programs along with some specific site management.
We are looking for qualified individuals who passionately embrace our vision and mission and are committed to a holistic view of education in a high-risk urban community. We believe this is more than a job; it is a calling to urban missions. We place a high focus on meeting the needs of at-risk and trauma-impacted families and are looking for individuals to support and nurture a collaborative approach to teaching and family engagement.
Candidate should also have experience in the spiritual development of children or youth in the community, school, or church. Additionally, a strong commitment to differentiated instruction, leadership development, child-focused learning, standards-based reporting, ongoing formative assessment, and professional growth highly desired. As well as an understanding of at-risk communities and a school family model of education. Familiarity with Conscious Discipline (or similar models) desired and a commitment to embrace and implement is a must. Three-five years of administration experience and a BA/BS required. Additionally, experience with NAEYC accreditation, ASCI accreditation, Keystone Stars or other quality improvement models, strongly desired.
