Next Generation Ministries is searching for a Community Outreach team member for a summer internship (July 6- August 28) to help maintain all outreach activities. You need to be self-motivated, energetic, and community-driven to take on this role. This position requires someone equipped with a positive attitude and readiness to be a team player. This position is virtual with some community visits, possible on site.
Duties will include managing data, distributing marketing materials, building/maintaining relationships with community partners, helping to manage event logistics and planning (internal and external), attending community events, and managing the bulk mailing process. Other responsibilities may involve administration assistance and writing copy for newsletter/ marketing materials. Video editing, photography, and/or grant writing skills are a plus.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, professional etiquette, and must be personable. A desire to impact at-risk communities through faith-based initiatives and education is preferred. The candidate will experience the workings of a small non-profit and school with a mission. This internship has the potential to turn into a full-time, year-round position.

Next Generation Ministries is recruiting part-time and full-time paid After School Interns for our OST programs at Spring Garden Academy. In this role you will work children in PreK-8th grades leading enrichment activities while implementing a strong social-emotional after school curriculum.
Additionally, we will train you for positions in our Elementary School and offer substitute work. The ideal candidate will be a college/grad student who desires to work and learn more about at-risk children. A degree or significant coursework in Elementary Education, Youth Counseling, Early Childhood, or Recreation or a related field highly desired. Two-five years volunteer and/or professional experience required. Familiarity with child development, experiential learning, Conscious Discipline, and/or Keystone Stars are also a plus. A major in education, child development, youth programming, leadership, or children’s/youth ministry is a plus; however, this internship is open to other majors.
The candidate should learn quickly, be open to team-based work styles, demonstrate an interest in social/emotional learning and be interested in applying trauma research in daily work. Additionally, the candidate should already have a minimum of 1200 hours working with children or youth (ages 18 and under) in a paid or volunteer position.
